Howard Rambsy reviews “The Armageddon of Funk” in the Summer 2012 issue of The Crisis Magazine, where the founding editor was none other than W.E.B. DuBois, so I am geeked to be reviewed in its pages. Current editor Jabari Asim continues the tradition and maybe even breaks ground in the Summer issue with coverage on “marriage equality, the Black church, and President Obama.” The same issue covers Esperanza Spalding and the “Black Art in Cyberspace.” I encourage you to purchase The Crisis Magazine or subscribe. This link will also bring you to the review.
